Dry, clear week ahead in North Texas
The heat continues this week, with highs in the mid-90s and feel-like temperatures in the triple digits.
As the soils continue to dry out, temperatures will continue to creep upward. By this weekend, we'll be near heat advisory levels for heat, which means two days in a row of a heat index of 103° or higher.
If you are looking for rain, chances around the metroplex and north are near zero. There is a good chance there is no measurable rain at the DFW Airport for the rest of the month.
The seven-day forecast shows the summer heat is full on and relentless. Dress accordingly and if outside often, drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade.
