After a rainy stretch of May weather, the first Monday of June – and second day of meteorological summer – is shaping up to be a beautiful one.
High temperatures will be around 75 degrees with lots of sunshine across the Delaware Valley. The morning starts slightly cooler, so grab a light jacket or hoodie before heading out the door, but expect to enjoy T-shirt weather by this afternoon.
A warming trend kicks off this week as an upper ridge builds along the East Coast. Highs will climb to the low-to-mid-80s on Tuesday and into the mid-80s to near 90 by Thursday.
By late week, a more unsettled pattern develops as disturbances moves through the region. Shower and storm chances increase Friday into the weekend, with partly cloudy and warm conditions returning by Sunday.
