Forward progress of Camino Fire near Don Pedro Reservoir in Tuolumne County stopped
Forward progress of the Camino Fire near Don Pedro Reservoir in Tuolumne County has been stopped, according to Cal Fire.
According to Cal Fire's incident page, the Camino Fire started around 12:20 p.m. on the western side of the reservoir. Crews said the fire was burning at a dangerous rate.
The forward progress was stopped at 173 acres and the fire is 20% contained as of 3 p.m. Friday.
The Tuloumne County Sheriff's Office said the fire was near Camino Road in the La Grange and Don Pedro roads area.
Deputies said no evacuations were issued and there were no road closures.
