The 16-year-old was identified by a family member as Shiraj Reid. CBS News Miami has learned the injured teens are best friends.

Aerial footage from Chopper 4 showed police collecting evidence near a playground inside the apartment complex. A separate section of the property was roped off with yellow police tape.
